Our Story

Dindi Kids Therapy Hub is a family-centred paediatric therapy hub located in Alexandra, Victoria, Australia. Founded by Siobhan Bell and Amanda Webb in June, 2023, Dindi Kids is all about empowering local children and families to thrive.

Having a combined experience of 35 years in the paediatric and disability fields, Siobhan and Amanda met whilst working at the local hospital in the paediatric therapy team. Both recent arrivals to the area, Siobhan and Amanda became very excited when they realised they shared the same play-based, family-centred therapeutic values and that their approach to interventions complemented each other's.

Given the ongoing need for additional paediatric therapy services within the Murrindindi Shire, Siobhan and Amanda jumped on the opportunity to open Dindi Kids when a perfect location became available in Downey St, Alexandra.

Two years on, Dindi Kids is going strong, and we are loving the opportunity to get to know and support so many families across the Murrindindi Shire.

Siobhan Bell

Director

Senior Occupational Therapist

Siobhan is a certified Practising Occupational Therapist with almost 15 years of experience working in paediatrics. Graduating from La Trobe University in 2011, Siobhan briefly dabbled within the adult therapeutic space, however, quickly realised this was not for her. She developed a passion for  supporting children with disabilities and developmental delays whilst working within the Early Childhood Intervention team at Villa Maria in Melbourne. Siobhan has spent time in a variety of paediatric settings, both in Australia and overseas, including community health, early childhood intervention, special schools and private practices.

Whilst in London, Siobhan was introduced to Ayres Sensory Integration (ASI), an evidence-based therapeutic practice, and developed a specific interest in this therapeutic area. She has since completed a certification course in ASI and is a certified ASI practitioner.

Outside of work, Siobhan enjoys playing any kind of sport (currently trying AFL at the mighty Thornton Roo's ) and travelling.
